Wilkins is a filmmaker based in Sydney, Australia and a former TV Promo Producer in Hong Kong. In his career in television he has directed and produced numerous promos for primetime TV shows, most recently his promo “Death by Zero - Help Wanted” has won a Bronze Award at the 2021 New York Festival under the Telenovela Promotion category. Another promo that he has co-produced “The Rectangle of Happiness” has also won a Silver Award under the same category.
As an independent filmmaker, he has also directed numerous short films. His most recent project Abrupt Chaos is an Official Selection at the 2022 Byron Bay Film Festival, a Second Rounder at the 2022 Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition, and one of the top 4 screenplays in Sydney and Melbourne Lift-Off Film Festival.
